How much is an 80 gallon hot water tank?
just a normal, not solar, water tank. And where can I buy one?
It depends on where you live. If you live in the US you can get it many places. I got my hot water heater at Home Depot. It was 80 Gallons and I would recommend that size for I never run out of hot water. 3 bath running at the same time and I have not had a problem.
As per price, I would say shop around. It depends on what you need Gas or Electric. There are also tank-less water heaters that are suppose to work better and save you money. They cost a little more but they say they are better because they save you money.
My water heater was electric and I installed it myself. It cost me around $485.00 for an 80 gallon one. It was on sale normally I think they run just under $600.00
The home depot also can install the heater for you.
MY Recommendation for you is to check into the tank-less water heaters they may run you a little more but will save you more money in the long run. They run around $650 or so. That’s about 130 or so more but you will save allot more in energy.
