i read tht the cost of solar panels is in cost per watt…wat does tht mean exactly?
i mean wat does per watt mean?
one watt i know of generating capacity bt it generates 1 watt in hw much time?1 hr?
It is the number of watts that it produces at one time. Like if you have a hair dryer that is rated at 1000 watts. Any time that it is turned on high it is using a thousand watts, if you use it for 6 minutes you have used 100 watt hours and if you use it for a full hour you used 1000 watt hours. If you have that 200 watt solar panel in direct sunlight for 1 hour it will make 200 watt hours of electricity, if it is there for 3 hours it will have made 600 watt hours. You would need 5 of my 200 watt panels (200 * 5 = 1000) pointed directly at the sun to run the hair dryer if you don’t have a battery to save up the power. It can also be thought of like driving your car at say 60mph the longer you drive the farther you get. If you look at an electric bill it is in kilowatt hours used.
