Hence in total he was charged around $38000.
He decided to take the home equity loan at 6.5 % rate which cost him only $239 a month and he was able to save $40 per month. With all these calculation you can come to only one conclusion and that is the solar energy system can still be economical if you plan it well. You can produce the total required energy at economical cost.
However there is also one more side of this discussion and that is you can save the electricity as well. For example it is the habit of most of us to use the lights even in the day time. I really feel that you should open your windows and use the sunlight instead. If you are running the AC then also you can make some proper arrangements so that the right amount of sun light enters your room. You can use the sky lighting system as well. The periscope technology can also be used.
Apart from all this you can also use the solar heater instead of greaser. This will definitely save lots of electricity. What this will do is simple to understand. You will be able to lower your electricity usage and hence your solar panel will cost less. Hence solar energy system can be economical if well planned.
