I was banned at the Global Warming, we can stop it, Flickr group and the castqld Yahoo Group due to being outspoken on the subject of climate change.
Governments ignore the evidence that climate change is caused by methane and not CO2. Type in gert stobbe at Google to read detailed information on this matter.
Over 400 coal fired power stations are to be built in countries including China, India, The US and Britain. Indeed one coal fired power station is built per week in China! Therefore it is clear that CO2 is not a concern.
The planned Emissions Trading Scheme in Australia will cost thousands of jobs and the public will face greatly increased power bills in order to reduce CO2. Australia is responsibe for less than 2% of CO2 pollution. I have asked politicians to name the countries that plan an ETS and to provide a list of countries that will not introdice an ETS. I am still waiting for an answer!
The leader of the Federal Opposition in Australia, Malcolm Turnbull will provide the parliament with a series of amendments to the current legislation to introduce an ETS. The Rudd Government calls the ETS the Carbon Pollution REduction Scheme. Many people are not aware that the ETS will work as a profit making scam.
The Australian public are urged to fight the introduction of an ETS. The national party will not vote for an ETS and some Liberal Party members of parliamnent will vote against the ETS.
