global warming and climate change
Why do Americans refuse to believe that global warming (climate change) is happening?
I wonder why when the rest of the planet accepts it, there is irrefutable scientific evidence.
There is actual measurable physical evidence.
Why we as a nation stubbornly refuse to accept what is happening.
What does our Government done to us, that we seem to believe anything they tell us about the world outside of America.
Please tell me why you don’t believe that global warming is happening and why.
(NO I HAVE NOT SEEN AL GORES FILM, so no reviews please).
But I have been around the world and seen what is happening and it scares the sh-it out of me.
I think there are three reasons.
1) Because our corporations and government spend a lot of time and money denying it, or suggesting ‘more studies’.
2) Because as advanced as our nation is, our scientific knowledge (as a country) does not measure up. Look at the ‘debate’ on evolution for an example.
3) If we do aknowledge it, we have to admit that the US plays a large role in it, as we have 4% of the worlds population but use 25% of the energy produced.
It is easier for us to ignore the issue and claim that it is undecided than admit that there is an issue and do something about it.
