Radiant Heat Energy: Solar Power Towers?
How does it work? Where (geographically in the world) would it work? How would you market the technology to move “minds over matter”?
Please help me on this one! 
They work by mirroring sunlight onto a collector at the top of the tower to heat a working fluid in the collector. The working fluid goes through some standard thermal power cycle – steam turbine or stirling cycle – to produce electricity.
The plants are a viable option anywhere there are sufficient cloud-free days. This makes deserts preferred locations.
They involve investments large enough that you don’t sell them on feelings or “mind over matter”, you have to sell them on economics.
