Solar Light Batteries?
Okay – I read all the other threads like this, but I still want to make sure what I was told is correct.
My solar lights use Ni-Cad rechargeable batteries, AA size.
I just left Walmart with a pack of rechargeable batteries – the guy there said I can use these, and that they are the same thing as the ones my lights came with.
Can someone assure me that it’s okay to use these batteries instead of the nickel-cadmium batteries that came with my lights?
I replaced my solar light batteries last year. They had cheap-o Ni-Cd AA batteries that were something like 500mAH. I replaced them with AA Ni-MH 1000mAH, which means they’ll last twice as long during the night. Any AA rechargeable should be safe and ok to use.
