Has anyone heard of ski hills using solar power for lighting?
Just wondering if anyone has heard of a ski hill using solar energy to power their lights for night skiing?
Hi Laurie-Ann, unfortunately solar power only works in the daytime,
Yes there are batteries involved regarding storage, but they only used temporarily; holding DC current until its quickly converted to AC power.
Thus solar power is not available in most systems as stored power for nighttime use.
