can anyone tell me if BOOTS ON THE ROOF SOLAR SCHOOL IS WORTH THE $4K to get started in the solar industry?
i took a buyout from my employer,and want to pursue a career in the solar pv installer buisness. im going to enroll at the boots on the roof solar bootcamp,its gonna cost $4k. is this place worth it.and do i need this place to further my career.
Some community colleges or technical institutes offer programs in solar, so you might want to compare prices in your area.
I’m not familiar with the particular school you mention. It might be worth asking the school for references of people who got jobs after graduating. You could also look into the credentials of the instructors – are they licensed roofers, electricians, maybe even NABCEP certified?
