There are numerous distinct methods of harnessing solar power from the sun. One of the most normally employed is thermal energy. When this takes place the heat will be transported by conduction. The water will be heated by kinetic energy and is channeled to the water molecules through the collector. The molecules will spread the solar thermal energy and will take up more space than the slower and much colder molecules.
